These artifacts from the Sponge HQ, my 2010–2016 project space and pedagogical platform, were produced in 2013 and 2014 for two separate projects. The Sponge HQ Fins, Mask & Snorkel, were commissioned as props for the 2013 CUE Art Foundation Benefit Auction photo booth. The Sponge HQ Wetsuit was made with Sponge HQ collaborators Jasmine Calvert and Jessica Carey for "Thirst", an exhibition and curated series of workshops at Proteus Gowanus in Brooklyn, NY in 2014.
