A Land Dive workshop at Smith College, March 10, 2020. The fifteenth iteration in the Land Dive Team body of work, proposing the practice of present moment awareness with equanimity as a way of facing the overwhelming reality of catastrophic climate change. In this instance participants received an email from the college announcing campus shutdown due to COVID-19 while in full scuba gear, making their way to a populous atrium with their own air to breathe.

Four new Land Divers and two members of the Land Dive Support Team were certified in the Land Dive Team: Smith College workshop, the fifteenth iteration of the Land Dive Team body of work.


Produced during a visit to Smith College, March 9–12, 2020 hosted by Alexis Callender and Michele Wick, sponsored by the Smith College Art Department and Arts Afield, and supported by the Endowed Lecture Committee and the Smith College Museum of Art. The Land Dive took place in the Smith College Museum of Art atrium.
