The Spongespace exhibition at Solvent Space in Richmond, VA
was designed to host three Sponge events: Feltmaking, Water &
Sound, and Meta-Sponge. Each of the three events lasted for two
days and was free and open to the public.

The Spongespace galleries included two large wall paintings designed by Leah Beeferman, a soundscape designed by Stephen
Vitiello with contributions by Ann Kroeber and Brian Bingham,
and a slideshow of an Indonesian reef at low tide by Dana Sherwood. The poster was designed by Jack Risley.

Spongespace also housed a fully functioning felt-making
studio, two lecture/presentation areas, and artifacts from past
Sponge workshops.
